The IACHT Crystal Therapy course was designed and founded by Hazel Raven, who remains one of the course tutors. As principal of the International Association of Crystal Healing Therapist, Hazel travels extensively to give seminars and training on many aspects of crystal therapy.

She has appeared on television and radio, in the press and national women's magazines. Hazel has been actively involved in setting the UK National Training Standards for Crystal Therapy.

She is on the executive committee of the Affiliation of Crystal Healing Organisations (ACHO) and is the Chairman of the Crystal Therapy group for the British Complementary Medicine Association (BCMA). She is on the Inner Council (IC) of the BCMA, a position she has held for the last 4 years.

Hazel is also a full member of The Institute for Complementary Medicine (ICM) and also The British Council for Complementary Medicine (BCCM). Hazel has contributed to the report for Professional Organisation of Complementary and Alternative Medicine in the United Kingdom 1997, which was compiled by the University of Exeter.

She is actively involved in the "Integrated Healthcare - a way forward for the next 5 years?", which was launched recently by HRH The Prince of Wales. These documents and the subsequent discussions will affect the role of Complementary and Alternative Health Care within the UK. She has been invited to the conference in the summer on Integrated Medicine.
